Transcription: Jupiter is the fifth planet from the Sun and as you can see in this side-by-side comparison it is about 10 times the size of planet Earth. Unlike the inner planets, Jupiter is not solid. Although it probably has a small rocky core, it is mostly made up of gas, principally hydrogen and some helium. It rotates quickly on its axis. A day on Jupiter lasts about 10 Earth hours but it takes almost 12 Earth years to to complete its orbit around the sun.
